One of my all time favourite games is now available for download on the Nintendo Virtual Console. Released in the arcades in 1987, Black Tiger is a classic 2D action/adventure game. R-Type Returns!!!

I know this isn’t exactly new news but… R-TYPE RETURNS AT LONG LAST!!! Yep indeedy, R-type is a comin’ to the Wii (via virtual console) – nice. R-TYPE – Woooo!!! Shame this site won’t allow background images :( , could really do with a scrolling starfield right now.
