Exor Studios’have recently announced that you can now download and play a demo of Zombie Driver. The demo consists of the first 3 levels from the game.
Capcom have announced that a 2 level playable demo (the best kind of demo!) will be available from the 26th Jan 09 only on Xbox LIVE. What’s good about this demo is that it also includes 3 levels of co-op play:
single-player with AI support
two-player split-screen on a single Xbox 360
two-player across Xbox LIVE (with voice chat)
Finally, Capcom has added 2 player support to Resident Evil. This is something I feel that should have been added a few games ago, but at least it is there now. And the game tinkering doesn’t even there. Now you get the choice of the “classic” Resident Evil controls (which were ok), or “action” controls inspired by Halo 3 (rubbish game) and Gears of War 2 (great game). Mmm.
For those of you who want even more of a Resi Evil fix you will also be able to watch the HD trailer for the game from the 16th Jan 09. The trailer was previously shown at the Tokyo Game Show, so don’t get to excited as you’ve probably seen it already.
Update 19th Jan 08: Playstation 3 owners will get to play the demo from the 2nd Feb 09.
Resident Evil 5 is due to be released on the 13th March 09 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
The nice people at Monolith have been beavering away at producing a demo of their upcoming F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin game. The demo will be available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC from the 22nd Jan 08. PC owners can download the demo from www.whatisfear.com.

Bizarre Creations The Club gets to see the light of day tomorrow, 8th Feb 08. Many of you will have already played the demo which has been kicking around on Xbox Live since early Jan 08.
Whilst the demo was fun whilst it lasted, I’m just not enough of a high score Nazi to want to buy it. I appreciate what Bizarre are trying to do and bring the whole style of killing as something else to try and perfect. Whilst this does add quite of bit of extra spice to running down a corridor and shooting people it does get a little dull after a while. When it comes down to it, I like to play and complete games, rather than to just obsess over high scores. Mostly.
Like all the Project Gotham Racing games, The Club will probably keep you happy for a while before you just can’t be arsed any more.
The Club will be released on 8th Feb 08 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360
I’ve already played the 360 demo for The Darkness. It’s a bit ho-hum. I’ll post a write-up of that, the Overlord demo and the Heavenly Sword one this weekend.
