SEGA Rally lives! After several years in the wilderness, following the release of SEGA Rally Revo back in 2007, the SEGA Rally franchise is back with SEGA Rally online arcade. I really liked SEGA Rally Revo, so I’m happy to see the SEGA Rally franchise live on despite the closure of the SEGA Racing Studio in 2008. Currently in development [...]

Some very interesting news appeared this morning, regarding cross platform gaming. A press release from Valve announced that Portal 2, due to drop in April, will support cross platform play on PC/Mac vs. PS3 for multiplayer gaming. This isn’t the first time that PC/console multiplayer has been attempted in a game (see Shadowrun), but given the amount of time and [...]

Here’s the second part of our interview with Seed Studios Producer Filipe Pina, wherein I babble a bit about Little Big Planet’s rubbish rating system and Filipe talks about his hopes for the RTS mapping community. Check out part of the interview where we talked about the challenges facing a new games development studio . Talking of Little Big Planet [...]

Let’s get this straight. Stalking isn’t cool. If I were to step out of my front door and walk to the shop right now, I would find it creepy if someone followed two foot behind me the whole way. I would also find it very annoying if that person tried to trip me up every 20 yards, or knock the [...]

As I talked about a few days ago, the Need For Speed Hot Pursuit demo has been released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. I played the Xbox 360 version, simply because it came out first and my PlayStation 3 is busy with the Killzone 3 beta ;-). The trailers for Need For Speed Hot Pursuit succeeded in making [...]

I don’t usually comment on either Xbox Live or PlayStation network maintenance periods, but this is a quite a long one during peak gaming time for the UK. This deserves a Sad Panda :-(

Avid readers of this site will already know that occasional contributor – Tikipod – is responsible for quite a lot of Gravity Crash, being the lead artist and level designer. So am I going to sugar-coat this review because of his involvement? Err, nope, I will be as impartial as possible. So time for the review then. Well, Gravity Crash is a bit like Marmite. You either love it or hate it. Personally, I love it and Weefz hates it.
