Under Siege dispenses with the resource defending, base building and troop management that are the usual staples of the RTS genre. You start out each mission with a bunch of units and some money. Spend the money to upgrade existing units or buy new ones. Pick the units you want for the next mission and bang, you’re ready to go.

This month sees the release of the last Halo game to be developed by Bungie before Microsoft's inhouse studio takes over. Halo: Reach is out on the 14th September and is looking like it is going to be another blockbuster. Sony also launches PlayStation Move on the 17th September which brings motion sensitive gaming to the PlayStation 3. Here's what else is on the way:
