There are downloadable demos in the European PlayStation Store! I almost fell off the sofa in shock.

A demo for The Darkness came out last week and Heavenly Sword was released today.

I’ve already played the 360 demo for The Darkness. It’s a bit ho-hum. I’ll post a write-up of that, the Overlord demo and the Heavenly Sword one this weekend.

For those of you who are still trying to bag a Wii then check out the GAME “live” Wii stock update page.

I say “live” as it was last updated on the 15th Dec, which is pretty recent I suppose. You never know you might get lucky and browse the page just when some stock becomes available.

They are ridiculously cute but if you were thinking of buying the £99.99 Nintendogs DS bundle for your girlfriend/cousin/mum for Christmas (like loads of my gamer friends were) it’s getting really hard to find these days and there’s no word from Nintendo as to whether or not they’ll be restocking stores before Christmas, but it doesn’t look good.
