BAFTA Events in April – Witcher 2 and Motion Graphics for COD

Yet again Bafta are putting on some fascinating events for gamers and those looking at development. The first one is a masterclass in association with the ICA covering motion graphics.

SPOV Motion Graphics – 4th April

SPOV are a Shoreditch-based company who produce cut-scenes and trailers for games that you may have heard of. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, anyone?

Allen Leitch, the founder and Managing Director of SPOV will present and discuss a selection of the work produced by SPOV over the years.

CD Projekt Red Witcher 2 Q&A – 11th April

The second is a Q&A with the developers of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Lead combat designer Maciej Szczesnik and QA lead Bartek Ocham will talk through the design, artistic vision, and overall development process for the game. Due to the content of the talk, this session is for those aged 18 or over.
