Forza Motorsport 5 Five Cheese Pizza Review (Pizza)

Forza 5 Cheese Crust Pizza Hut
I had pizza last night. It was delicious.

Microsoft and Pizza Hut have partnered again to create a special pizza crust in the UK, this time for the launch of Forza 5. It’s called a Five Cheese Crust and is a damn sight less disgusting than the Halo 4 stuffed crust pizza they did last year.

It only comes in large but you can get whatever toppings you want on on this crust. It’ll cost you from around £15 for the basic Margherita to around £20 for all the works.

As with most Pizza Hut specials, it’s a thin crust. The edge is twisted to make a pocket for the Forza 5 filling (seriously, what?) that’s made up of these five cheeses:

  • Mozzarella
  • Cheddar
  • Hard cheese (this is an actual thing?)
  • Provolone
  • Fontal

Since melty cheese doesn’t hold up so well in transit, I normally stick all delivered pizza in the oven for 5 minutes after it arrives. After a bit of re-heating, the cheesy crust was lovely. Filled with flavour, not as rubbery as it looked and entirely edible. I might even have a leftover slice for lunch today.

Here’s the unboxing video, so you can see the pizza in all its cheesy glory.

Yes, I honestly think that the connection between Forza 5 and this pizza is the number of cheeses.

Update: You don’t actually need to buy the pizza to get your free McLaren 12c car token. Just sign up at and check the “Request a token” box. I couldn’t redeem mine today so I guess they’ll go live when the Xbox One launches on 22nd November.

Update 2: Apparently it should come with a special Forza 5 augmented reality box. I will, of course, post a photo of this box as soon as I get hold of one.
