CLOSED: Pride & Prejudice Game on iPhone

You all like iOS games and literature, right? Sure you do.

Well, courtesy of Koch Media, we’re giving away 5 copies of the new iPhone game based on Jane Austen’s literary classic, Pride & Prejudice. It’s filled with beautiful scenes, emotive music and, if I’ve got my facts right, women in corsets? Unrequited love? Something about a Mr Darcy?

As you might have guessed, I’ve not read Pride & Prejudice. I’ve not even seen one of the many film and TV adaptations but I understand they’re very popular. However, I’m sure that’s not the case for you lovely people and that you are quite educated in the English classics.

Set in the early 1800s, the game is an interactive version of the story and can, I’ve been told, even be used as a study aid if you have exams coming up later this year. The core of the game is finding hidden objects, alongside point and click segments to drive the narrative. There is also a series of minigames, covering spot-the-difference, Picross-like cross-stitch and something described as “an entertaining Pianoforte music challenge”.

All you need to do to enter is leave a comment below telling me your favourite character from Price & Prejudice, or any novel by Jane Austen.I’ll pick the winners on Sunday 10th February and be in touch by email.

No cheating with fake names, now. I will totally look them up on Wikipedia.
