LEGO Pirates Of The Caribbean – New Trailer And Screenshots

Disney have released a teaser trailer to their upcoming LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean game. Developed by Traveller’s Tales, it should come as no surprise that it will be very similar in format to the previous LEGO games which were based on films like Star Wars, Indian Jones, Batman and Harry Potter. Expect plenty of humour and general larking around from the in-game characters during the game.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean will cover the first 3 films in the Pirates series across 20 levels and feature 70 playable characters. As with previous LEGO games there will be 2-player co-op mode as well.

Whilst the trailer is devoid of in-game action, the screenshots do provide a glimpse of your typical LEGO gameplay. Lots of little LEGO bits to collect, including the shiny blue ones and things to bash/build. Oh, and a LEGO Will Turner wandering around.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean will be released during summer 2011 on Wii, DS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PSP.
