Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D – Trailer

If you’ve ever wondered what a mash-up of Resident Evil 4 and 5 would look like in 3D, then check out this trailer for Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. It looks like Capcom have done just that.

The game is essentially an extension of the mercenaries mode from Resident Evil 4 – get as many kills within the time limit as possible and don’t die. There are also 4 different characters at your disposal (Claire Redfield, Chris Redfield, Krauser and Hunk).

The question is: Will this game have enough to keep players interested and coming back for more given the fairly limited gameplay options?

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D is due for release on the 25th March 2011 on Nintendo 3DS.
