Gran Turismo 5 – How To Win The First Top Gear Test Track Race

Following on from my Top Gear Test Track Top Tips post, here’s a video showing where to overtake during the first Volkswagen SambaBus ’62 race in order to win a gold trophy (i.e. 1st place). That’s me driving, in case you were wondering. I was putting many of my top tips into action. I even make a total hash of the first corner and still win :-)

Once you’ve won this race the Top Gear Test Track is unlocked for use during the arcade and practice modes. This allowed me to scream around the track a bloody sight faster in my awesome McLaren MP4-12C supercar. Brilliant fun.
