Bioware and LucasArts have announced on both their twitter feed and website a change to the release date of their highly anticipated MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic. The game will now launch worldwide on the 20th December 2011, with the European release date having been pushed forward 2 days.

The co-founders of BioWare, Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk were in London this weekend for a presentation at the Eurogamer Expo. Rich Burley from Newb Review, Chris Hartnup of Gaming Lives and I caught up with the doctors in a boutique Soho hotel to talk about the studio and where they are planning to take the company.

The Mass Effect 3 demo is finished and ready for E3 2011, according to Casey Hudson (Exec Producer of Mass Effect Series). BAFTA Games awards head to the US in order to grow it’s presence/membership across the other side of the pond.
