The Gaming Den featuring GRID 2

You want to be one of the first to check out GRID 2′s multiplayer? Then come down to The Gaming Den on 4th May 2013. We’ll be featuring all-new multiplayer builds of the upcoming racing game from Codemasters.

We’ll be showing off the Race, Checkpoint and Eliminator modes for GRID 2. You’ll be racing head-to-head in splitscreen mode on our massive projectors covering the walls of the Visual Collective Gallery in Bethnal Green. Codemasters will be there, giving away awesome GRID 2 goodie bags.

Gaming Den - AmiWe’ll also be running a full-screen Power Lap-style tournament on the Red Bull Ring track. Set the fastest time on the day and you’ll win an awesome prize pack of GRID 2 goodies as well as a signed copy of the game on the platform of your choice, sent to you when the game is launched on 31st May.

Have you seen how big our screens are? They’re really big. Here’s a photo from last month’s WipEout event.

Over in the retro room, you can challenge your friends on Micro Machines v3. We’ll be adding more of the Codemasters back catalogue, including Sensible Soccer. You can see the full list of retro games and platforms available over on the permanent Gaming Den page. You’re welcome to bring your own games as well, but please look after them.

As always, there will be drinks at the cash bar, food available, and cocktails provided by James Dance of the Loading Bar.
