Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Reveal Trailer Leaked

While the rest of us games reporters are toiling under embargos, Gamesradar has gone ahead and posted the new reveal trailer for Assassin’s Creed IV on YouTube. Naughty Gamesradar. No biscuit.

This non-gameplay trailer shows off our new protagonist, Captain Edward Kenway, and his guns. Lots of guns. Also some swords, a headbutt, his trusty hidden blade and a bit of swimming underwater. You’ll also see some nude women, a corseted woman and plenty of ship-to-ship piratey action.

Oh, and while I was writing this post, they made the video private. Rather unfortunately, the entire world has already downloaded it, which means it’s in the public domain and therefore something I can write about. I’ll have plenty more details on the game at 5pm on Monday but for now, here’s the Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag trailer.

As you can see from the logos at the end, the game will straddle generations, coming out on all current platforms (except the Wii) and also the PS4 and the Wii U? Does this mean that the PS4 will be out before 29th October 2013? Not necessarily – AC3 was released on 30th October 2012 with the Wii U (and PC) versions following in November.

For some reason, I write it as “Blag Flag”, every single time. What’s up with that?
