The Imperial War Museum at Duxford is about to host what I think is the UK’s first flight simulator exhibition on the 4-5th September 2010.

The Flight Sim 2010 show will take place in a spacious indoor exhibition hall within AirSpace, which will give visitors the perfect chance to hop next door to the Aircraft Hall and enjoy a look at over 30 historic military and civil aircraft.

One of those 30 aircraft happens to be a Concord!

Here’s all the essential details:

There will be 10 major exhibitors at the show including Just Flight, PC Pilot and Saltek.

Update 2nd Sep 2010: The show is going ahead as planned at Duxford. This has been confirmed with the show’s organisers. Also although entry to the flight simulator show is free, you will still have to pay if you want to see the Battle of Britain airshow which is on that weekend.

  • Is this show still going ahead. And is it still at duxford

    • Hi Daniel. I’ve just contacted the organisers of the show about this.
I’ll post any updates when I hear back.

But at the moment, it all looks like it’s going ahead at Duxford.

    • I’ve updated the post to confirm that the show is going ahead as I’ve just heard back from the shows organisers.

Hope you enjoy the show Daniel.

  • Pro Flight Simulator is presently my preferred flight simulator online. It may not be the prettiest flight simulator but there is nothing I?ve discovered yet that compares to the level of realism that it has. It is essentially a flight school simulator designed for your home PC.
