ASDA Online – Cheap Xbox 360 games from £12.97

ASDA - Part of the WAL-MART Family ADSA online are selling cheapy-cheap Xbox 360 games. Some of them are even pretty good. Here’s an online comparison against Game, Play.com and my favourite second-hand retailer, Computer eXchange:

ASDA Online GAME.co.uk Play.com* CEX.co.uk
Delivered + P&P Delivered Delivered (used)
Lego Star Wars II £17.97 £29.99 £24.99 £26.00
Prey £12.97 £19.99 £24.99 £15.00
F.E.A.R. £17.97 £29.99 £39.99 £25.00
Dead Rising £28.97 £29.99 £24.99 £24.00
Oblivion £21.97 £29.99 £17.99 £24.00

Conclusion #1: Game.co.uk are unimaginative with their prices.
Conclusion #2: Also, they are expensive.
Conclusion #3: ASDA are scarily cheap.

These prices aren’t duplicated in ASDA supermarkets themselves. You can check it you like – I stopped by on my way home. Lego Star Wars 2 was a bizarre £29.73 and Oblivion was £37.96. Good to see that ASDA are doing their bit to keep pennies in circulation.

As usual, you could be helping put suppliers or specialist stores out of business by taking advantage of hefty supermarket price cuts. Here’s ASDAWatch, for those concerned with ethical purchases.

For the rest of you… w00t! Cheap games!
