Theaveragegamer.com is now Wii powered!

Oh, yes Mr Cartman, what you see in that glass jar is now in the grubby mitts of thefluffyfist.
Zelda and Wii Sports reviews to follow.
Situation at my local GAME (central London) this morning:
- Wii Console - Pre-order collection only.
- Wiimotes and Nunchucks - Pre-order collection only. New stock in next week.
- Wii games - Few copies available for those who didn’t pre-order.
It’s Wii time….

Congrats, I picked-up my pre-order from Woolies this afternoon. Still waiting on my copy of Zelda though. :(

Any good then? Personally I’m pretty much against believing the hype. I’m not convinced at all that Zelda is the second coming as everyone seems to think, especially when Famitsu and Gamespot didn’t review it higher than 8.75.

Can’t comment on Zelda, yet, but Wii Sports is worth it alone imho. Especially if you have friends to call on.

Ok, well 3 of us have sore shoulders (Weefz, me and my housemate) from playing Wii Sports all weekend. Wii Sports is brilliant and worth the price of the console itself as GamingHobo has already mentioned. As I’m writing this Weefz is trying to lower her Wii Sprts age (you only get 1 chance a day)!
Zelda - I love it. The control method is brilliant, however, it’s not an earth shattering game as some people have hyped it up as. It’s Zelda. Gamecube Zelda actually.
We will get round to posting some reviews of the Wii games when we stop playing it. We have to physically drag Weefz away from Wii boxing!

Oh my god - they got a Wii! You bastard!
All sold out here in the land of the rising sun as well. Heck, the DS was even sold out again this weekend at the big electronics store I usually get my stuff from.

Dude… why are you having a conversation with yourself?
BTW, is “a beast” a good thing or a bad one?
