Tower Defence
Dec 6th, 2006 | By Debbie "Weefz" Timmins | Category: News, Web-basedI found this mildly entertaining flash game, based on Warcraft 3′s Element Tower Defence and Starcraft’s Turrent Defence. I haven’t played either of those so I have no idea how this compares but it’s a good diversion.
It’s pretty simple. Place towers, wait for invaders, watch towers hit invaders with variously coloured-blobs, upgrade towers for next wave. Repeat until castle walls breached.
There’s no pause or save feature. Don’t try to beat it unless you have a good twenty minutes to kill.

Anyone play the AT&T mobile verison of this game? Im in chapter 9 now.. almost done with it. Kinda fun on the go… and the enemy’s arent just blobs =P
does the game remove one your tower from a cluster when you try to build an extra tower next to that cluster?
Because when i play that always happens……..
i got to wave 98 with at least 5 plant towers :L Very Hard

alot of these hints have been good but iv gotten to lvl 81 wat i did was make 2 water towers (4th upgrade)were they first come out then 3 water towers (2nd upgrade) and then 2 of the 4th upgrades again, that should be able to hold them off while you make all the way upgraded nature towers (i think there called supernatural towers)
oh p.s
dont waste ur time on the 3000$ towers they shoot way to slow and for that money you can just make another supernatual tower that shoots twice as fast

To get a minimum of 75, use only green towers and put them at the end of hallways, so that they have a perfectly straight shot. 1
pixel off, and this will not work. If done correctly, they will have a hugely increased rate of fire shooting at the hallway they are aimed at. I have scored 102 using the flowers and greens.

If you hold down the spacebar button your level will skyrocket lol, found this by accident i think its a cheat, but anyway my highest without it is 75
hold down space bar right when game starts… youll get to lvl..21..34..or 72…but dont get money

I got to level 104. It was really hard and took a long time to perfect.
The best I can get is 84 though 85 seems possible. You can only get to 90 and up on the non nerfed version. (So to anyone claiming these scores, sorry but they aren’t worth anything.)The only way to get 84 is with nature towers stacked. I’ve gotten a ten stack across but saw a video with thirteen. (I can’t confirm their score though, it was 87.) If you place a green tower bottom left then bottom right you can stack by mouse-over the left then move right until the hand turns into an arrow, then move back left as far as you want as long as you leave enough room to select the tower below. If the bottom tower is already upgraded then don’t worry about it. For the right side do the same thing except opposite direction. Keep going left to right to left. Anyone who shows high scores with them spaced out is either cheating or using the old version, stacking is the only way to get to 84. Also nature tower is also the only way. (Any combo of other things is bogus.) I have found three different combinations of stacks that will get you 84 but the are all based on the bottom stack. All bottom stack seems to be the best, I haven’t tried it yet but will tonight. Check the damage on the towers before you get too far in, they shouldn’t match, i.e. if it says next upgrade will give you 900 then it should say damage 850 or something similar when you do upgrade. This is probably from not paying attention to detail when the maker nerfed the game. Actual damage got changed but tool tips didn’t. i got to lvl 970 no this is not a typo im just awesome.
i got to level 82 but i carnt get any further even with two of the powerfullest towers fully upgraded
i got to lvl 83 w/o cheats took long as hell tho i had no life last summer
lol, i know how to get to wave 1000+, hold in space bar completely whilst in the middle of a lvl (when killed all the wierd blobs) but don’t just press it HOLD IT IN!!! =P only works on pcs, for some reason wouldn’t work on my mac =(

78 was my highest and on my 6th try. Nice game and find.
my high score is 83, i use only the flower one(the natural tower) i put put 4 on the bottom between the first and last horzontal stretch, 4 between the 3rd horizontal run and the first upward run, 2 at the top of the first upward run i facing into the second horizontal run and one at the bottom of the last downward run.
green towers are best and cheapest but build 2 collums of 3 reds each around the first path (because they are weak until level them up fully)
then build green towers in the middle fully leveled up
got to 74
i got to lvl 69!! but, cant past it. my bro got to lvl 72 i dont know how he did though!!

Our goal was to create a tower defense that had a high focus on interactive strategic gameplay instead of the usual “Build -> Watch -> Build” cycle in most TDs.
