What the heck is going on at ilovebees2.com? Bungie claim it’s nothing to do with them as it’s too obvious and the error page you get when you fail to log in is strange – big ASCII partial graphic with words hidden in it. I found this via Joystiq but I the page has changed since then – CTRL-F on “message” doesn’t find anything and the image looks totally different. I’ve copied the error page here in case the image changes again – the applet timer (counts down to 1st April 2006) and embedded sound file don’t work on my copy.
The image in the Joystiq post does look a lot like the Oblivion pic mentioned in 1Up. This one looks more like Darth Vader… It doesn’t match up against any of the released PC or Xbox 360 Oblivion screenshots
I know there’s a link to 3.jpg in the middle of the page. No idea what that means either.

the site was meant to be fun not to trick anyone. A great chanvce to win free Xbox stuff, without ads, without spam, without pop-ups. We never said we were related to MS, as far as being fake we have given away $1000s in 360 games, and 360 systems and are still going strong. It is a fun thing to figure out clues solve mysterious and when great prizes. Every response from someone asking me if it was MS related I told them no upfront, since we never claimed to be anything its hard to be a “fake”. We didn’t call it Halo3.com if anything someone would presume it was related to ILB which was a story by itself. Always a fan of the queen bee we created a respectable no strings attached game to enjoy and win stuff for achieving goals.
