New version of 3D Mark coming out tomorrow

Futuremark Corporation Logo

The new version of Futuremark’s renowned hardware benchmarking program 3DMark is coming out tomorrow. It’s exclusive to GameSpot at launch and should be available from this link.

They’re releasing 3 versions – a free basic version, an advanced edition for sale at US$19.95 (expanded features, playable mini-game and enchanced Online ResultBrowser features – how vague…) and a professional edition for commercial use at US$500! I’ll stick to the free one, thanks.

If you ever wondered how good your PC is for games compared to everyone else’s, this is the tool to use. We’ll be benchmarking our average gaming PCs and posting the scores soon!
