POSTAL Games Series Now Downloadable

Running With Scissors have now made their controversial 18-rated POSTAL games series available for download through their online store. From Wikipedia:

Some of the more controversial aspects of the game are:

• Al Qaeda terrorists who carry out a suicide bombing of a church and a marching band (these characters all resemble Osama bin Laden
• The ability to urinate on people to make them vomit in disgust
• Anthrax-filled cow’s heads as weapons

This makes it now possible to get in countries where it’s banned but in New Zealand you’ll still be breaking the law – it’s a NZ$2000 fine just for possession of this game. Never mind – San Andreas is better anyway.

(Slightly related, apparently it’s illegal for parents to supply their children with games that are deemed unsuitable by the Office of Film and Television Classification. Nanny state or what!?)
