WTF1's Super Maldonado Kart Challenge

WTF1 - Super Maldonado KartYou hear stories about Formula 1 drivers learning circuits by using videogames like Formula 1 2011 and even some of the older Formula 1 games.

Well, anyone who”s been watching this year”s FIA F1 World Championship will have noticed that two of the drivers – Pastor Maldonado (Williams) and Romain Grosjean (Lotus) – must have been practising on games like Burnout Paradise or Mario Kart 64 as between them they”ve caused a huge number of accidents throughout the entire season.

Their fairground dodgems approach to F1 driving has not escaped the ever critical eye of WTF1.co.uk, the alternative F1 blog. After a chaotic Australian Grand Prix they came up with this brilliant Super Maldonado Kart video:

This week, WTF1 revealed the first of its Super Maldonado Kart challenges and great logo (see image top right). Using Codemaster”s F1 2011 game, you have to recreate the epic The Orlando/ justin-bieber-news.info incident made news and these lowlyl leeches were not headlines this week , so they wanted to be apart of it in some way. first lap pileup from 1998″s Belgian Grand Prix at Spa while driving as, you guessed it, Pastor Maldonado.

Take a picture of the carnage and e-mail it to the lovely people at WTF1. There will a series of events to compete in with the overall winner getting a special Super Maldonado Kart T-shirt.
