PlayStation Network – Maintenance From 28th Oct @ 4pm

I don’t usually comment on either Xbox Live or PlayStation network maintenance periods, but this is a quite a long one during peak gaming time for the UK. This deserves a Sad Panda :-(

Here are the details from the PlayStation blog:

PSN offline: 4pm 28th 2010 Oct – 00:30 29th Oct 2010
PlayStation Store, network account management and registration will all be offline
You won’t be able to sign in to PlayStation Network from eu.playstation.com

Here’s the really important bit.

If you wish to play online during the maintenance, please ensure you sign in to PSN before 16:00 on Thursday 28 October 2010.

So if you want to continue playing the Killzone 3 beta on the 28th Oct, sign in before 4pm! Or just continue playing the whole day ;-)

Nick started gaming in the early 1980s on Nintendo's Game & Watch handhelds before spending a serious amount of time playing Elite on the BBC Micro. Its been downhill since then via ownership of the Atari ST, Amiga, A500 and A1200, PC Engine GT, PS1, PC, PS2, Gameboy Advance, SP and DS, PSP, Wii, PS3, PS Vita, A1200 (again) and PS4 Pro. He likes shoot-em-ups and role-playing games – citing Dungeon Master as “the greatest game ever made” – driving games, the odd platformer and Zelda games.
