Welcome back faithful readers to this week’s wonderful edition of To Kill a Gamer. Of course I am talking about my UFC 30 day challenge. Last week’s article discussed me battling T-push ups and family events to maintain my steely composure. This week I tackled dinosaurs.

Family events confronted me with my first real “challenge” of this challenge. A meal out at the pub without drinking or majorly pigging out was a formidable opponent. Despite the battle being played out on their home turf, the twin temptations of pub grub and foamy beers fell to my steely new resolve.

I have a confession to make. I fit into the media stereotype of a gamer quite well; beardy, long-haired and overweight. I also lack in confidence partly due to my body image and while I am all too happy spilling words out on to the Internet, I often fail in social situations. This is all going to change.
