Collectible Hotline Miami, Papers Please and More

Papers Please Gamers Edition Network
Gamer Network are now providing fancy collectibles for games, with a new service called Gamer’s Edition. The first two editions announced are Hotline Miami and Papers, Please. Good god, I really want those rubber stamps.

Hey, the power inherent in stamping DENIED or APPROVED on bits of paper is highly seductive, okay? Don’t judge me. I can’t quite bring myself to pay $70 for it, but if I had cash to burn, I’d be all over that.

Papers, Please comes with all the essential paperwork to be a border control agent of glorious Arstotzka , as well as a keychain, zinc alloy inspector’s badge and presentation box, a poster, stamps and a Steam key for the game.

The Hotline Miami edition is slightly cheaper at $60 which gets you both games on DVD for Windows PC, Mac and Linux. You also get a comic, cameo cards listing contributors for the game, a gang sign stencil, postcard and a cassette. You’ll have to buy your own cassette player to hear what’s on the mixtape, which has been curated by the developers at Dennaton.

The Gamer’s Edition initiative is a collaboration between Gamer Network, Idea Planet and developers to bring special editions to indie games. Each item will be individually numbered and have only a single production run. As a result, they require a minimum number of orders before production will start. Both Hotline Miami and Papers, Please are aiming for an August 2015 delivery.
