Pre-Order Max Payne 3 for Bonus Multiplayer Content

Fans who pre-order Max Payne 3 with selected retailers will be rewarded with early access to the Pill Bottle Multiplayer Loadout Item. This will allow players to carry extra painkillers, which are used to regenerate health in the game. Rockstar haven’t stated when exactly the item will be available to players after the game’s launch.

Max Payne is scheduled for release on May 18th, but you must pre-order the game by April 15th with either Play.com, HMV, GameStop or Zavvi in order to get the Pill Bottle loadout.

FourZeroTwo Leaves Activision

Robert Bowling, creative strategist for the Call of Duty franchise, has left Activision. The franchise frontman posted on his Twitter account: “Today, I resign from my position as Creative Strategist of Call of Duty, as a lead of Infinity Ward, and as an employee of Activision.”

Infinity Ward responded on their own Twitter: “We wish Robert all the best. Thanks for everything.”

No word yet on who will be replacing him.

GOG.com Receives Huge Update, Relaunches with Indie Titles

GOG.com, a digital distribution service for classic PC games, is receiving an overhaul. CD Projekt’s DRM-free site has now added newer titles to its catalogue, including Trine 2 and The Whispered World, and also taking pre-orders for Legend of Grimrock, due out on 11th April.
