Poor Justin bought a Wii last week and it’s broken already.
The bit that really disturbs me is when the disc just rolls away… I never trusted those little slot-fed CD drives. Jeffjeff08 also has a video of a Wii that’s not accepting discs properly.
Hope this is just a one-off (two-off?) and not the beginning of a pattern of failures.
Edits: No, the bit that really disturbs me is the blue flash in the slot at 40 seconds. What the heck is that? Is it normal?
Okay, the blue light is normal and the user’s name is Justin, not Nicole and you can follow the saga of his vomiting Wii on his own site.

Just put a piece of selotape over it when the disk stays in!
Are we sure it’s a Wii disk Nicole is trying to play?
It could be something dire like Cher’s latest album and the Wii is just using its inbuilt quality control software :-)
Wii>Bleugh get this crap out of my drive…
That was a) strangely theraputic and b) bloody hilarious. The Wii was obviously having a bit of a fit, but very very funny.
Hey! My name is not Nicole? It is Justin. Thanks. ^_^
Okay, changed the post.
Wait, your userinfo definitely used to say Nicole, right? I’m sure it did.
yeah ^^ I notice that it did say Nicole, my sisters name is Nicole so I’m guessing for some reason she changed my name on my account, not really sure though. I changed it now though.
Makes sense. Also explains why the news sites kept calling you a girl
Heehee… hope you learned your lesson – don’t let your family anywhere near your account details ;)
Weird… but if you notice the power LED is in the “Standby” mode…so maybe it’s not broken?
I am another Nicole – no connection to the above! My Wii broke within a month – I was gutted, but retailer swapped it over – happy again! Similar problems to those above though.
They will replace any and all defective wii's. You just need to ensure you keep the purchase papers.
