GAME’s website appears to have lost the point of bundles. Or perhaps not, from a business point-of-view.
Over on play.com and HMV.co.uk you can pre-order a Wii+ Wii Sports for £179.99, as announced in the launch-date press release.
Back at GAME you can’t order just Wii+Sports but you can order one of several bundles. You can get the Wii+Sports with one of Zelda, Rayman or Red Steel for £219.99 or two of those for £259.99 or all three for £299.99. So basically, for each of these bundles an extra game will set you back an extra £40.
But… but… all of those games retail for £39.99 anyway. What’s the point? The extra 2 pence?
*confused*
I guess customers should just be grateful that they’re not being charged more for bundled games.

God damn, I hate bundles. I suppose it’s a bonus they allow you to choose the games. It really annoys me when there’s no choice and they just use it as a way of flogging games they can’t get rid of.

Yeah. GAME seem to do a mix of both. I suppose that’s fair, in an annoying kind of way.
