PS3 – Available to pre-order in the UK
Jun 17th, 2006 | By TheFluffyFist | Category: News, PS3
Play.com have the PS3 available to pre-order here for £549.99 (bundle includes Formula 1 06, Singstar and WarHawk).
Wow, £549.99…that’s quite a bit of cash! Also you might not get your PS3 anyway as Play.com mention that:
Due to an expected European shortage of the PS3, we are unable to guarantee delivery of your PS3 before Christmas. All pre-orders will be fulfilled on a first come, first served basis and game titles in this package may be changed, subject to availability.
Time to start saving those pennies!

i`d rather have a wiiiiiii.
seriously though, there’s really no point getting one straight off. Firstly i aint got no HD tv, secondly initial release games tend to always been crapola, thirdly being forced to buy kruddy sony game bundles is downright rude!
back in amiga days you would be able to buy a machine with a software bundle, but they werent made by the hardware manufacturer. The hollywood pack had Newzealand story+batman+flight sim (ocean/ocean + some other publisher) – then the flights of fancy pack had rainbow islands+F29 retaliator+ Escape from the Planet Of The Robot Monsters (ocean/ocean/tengen). Not all the games were great, but 2 out of 3 tended to be. AND you didnt feel like those 3 games were ripping you off, they were more like freebies.
grumble
They are A LOT cheaper now thank God, though I still haven’t bought myself one :(
The only game I really want to play on the PS3 that I cannot play on the PC is GTA IV.
