Re-moled: An Art Toy Exhibition in London

Kerry Dyer Remoled Header
Kerry Dyer makes figurines. You may have seen her incredible Mass Effect Turian sculptures from a couple of years ago. She’s hosting a Art Toy show called Re-Moled in London next week where a range of artists will be showing and selling their own customised versions of Dyer’s MoleXL figures (pictured above).

“MoleXL is a 3 inch hand rotocast resin model developed from the original mini moles I sold at toy and comic conventions,” said Dyer. “The mini moles started out as a fun little extra that I would have on my stand, but people responded to them really well and I developed the larger figure earlier this year.”

The show will be in London’s Loading Bar on Saturday 6th December from 6pm. 45 toy and 2D artists from around the world have contributed their custom takes on the MoleXL figures as models, paintings and prints. I love these wonderful versions of Wrex and Dr Robotnik.

More pictures are in the Re-Moled Flickr Album. Artists, you’ll also be able to buy the blank MoleXL and Mini Mole figures at the show to customise yourself. If you can’t make the show, custom moles and other artwork will be available for sale online from 7th December.
