Tabula Rasa – End Of Beta Event

The long-awaited Tabula Rasa is launching next week (2nd Nov 07 0700 GMT). To mark the end of the beta they are holding a kill General British event on Fri 26th Oct 07 1900 – 2100 hrs BST. There will be a rogue team of Tabula Rasa agents (some of the developers having fun) adding to the mayhem.

Also as a thank you to all the beta players, you can get an exclusive in-game emote (/throat) when you activate your PlayNC account with a retail code.

For pre-order customers there is a special Halloween Event from Weds 31st Oct 07 â€“ Thurs 1st Nov 07. During this time you get the opportunity to collect (and keep) up to 9 special masks.

You can still join the beta here if you want to see what all the fuss is about. You must be quick as the servers get wiped on the 27th Oct 07!

Eurogamer.net is giving away even more keys to the latest closed beta of Tabula Rasa, after the previous bunch got snapped up.

Steps to get a beta key this time:

First Register for Eurogamers. You can do this here.
Then go to the beta keys page here.
Now visit PlayNC to set up your account (or add to your existing PlayNC acount).
Finally, download and install Tabula Rasa (warning – it’s a 3Gb download).

Closed beta play session times:

Monday and Wednesday, 5:00pm-2:00am BST (British Summer Time).
Friday 5:00pm-Monday 2:00am BST (British Summer Time).

NOTE: This current beta ends on the 5th Sept 2007.

Eurogamer.net is giving away several thousand closed beta keys for the latest MMORPG from Richard Garriott, right now!!!!

Steps to get a beta key (3514 left at 11pm 8th Aug 07):

First Register for Eurogamers. You can do this here.
Then go to the beta keys page here.
Now visit PlayNC to set up your account (or add to your existing PlayNC acount).
Finally, download and install Tabula Rasa – 2841.08Mb.

There’s a couple of further bits of information about these keys. They are for the European servers and you can only play at the following times:

~~Session #1 Wed 8th Aug 17:00 â€“ 02:00 (BST)~~
Session #2 Fri-Sun 10-12th Aug 17:00 â€“ 00:00 (BST)
Session #3 Mon 13th Aug 17:00 â€“ 02:00 (BST)
Session #4 Wed 15th Aug 17:00 â€“ 02:00 (BST)
Session #5 Fri-Sun 17-19th Aug 17:00 â€“ 00:00 (BST)

Update 9th Aug 07: Still 3187 keys available at 10am this morning. I won’t be playing this until the next available session on Friday. The initial download is quick enough (on my broadband anyway), but then 1st patch download kicks in and takes an age to finish. Boo.
