Neverwinter MMO Beta Keys

Neverwinter MMO
The upcoming Neverwinter MMO from Cryptic Studios (City of Heroes, City of Villains) is a free, action MMO based on the Dungeons & Dragons universe. From the website:

The city of Neverwinter, the Jewel of the North, seemed blessed by the gods. While the rest of the Sword Coast was devastated by the event, Neverwinter survived largely intact. But this was only a temporary reprieve from its inevitable doom. Nearly 75 years later, a volcanic eruption rained fire, ash and molten fury upon the city, annihilating everything in its wake.

Today, Neverwinter has restored much of its former glory. Lord Neverember of Waterdeep has taken the city under his protection and put forth a call to all adventurers and heroes of the Savage North to help rebuild Neverwinter in the hopes that one day he can lay claim to her throne and crown. But evil forces conspire in the dark places of the world, seeking to undermine all…

As is so often the case with MMOs now, they’re offering a range of Founder’s packs for preorders. The most expensive, at a whopping US$199.99 is the Hero of the North. This one contains a unique playable race, a unique armoured spider mount (woe betide all arachnophobes), a panther companion, a fancy costume, virtual fireworks, VIP beta access and a bunch of other stuff. Lest you think you don’t have enough stuff, you can even get a “Robe of Useless Items” that drops a useless piece of junk on the ground near your character. No, seriously. It’s actually a thing.

The slightly more affordable Guardian of the North pack is $59.99 and includes beta access, a direwolf companion, an armoured horse, the mask from the Hero’s fancy costume, a fancy ring and a bunch of other stuff including, yes, the Robe of Useless items.

Or there’s the Starter Kit, which is a respectable $19.99 and gets you a Bag of Holding, and Amulet of Protection and a bunch of handy adventurer’s items like XP boosters and identify scrolls. Try not to waste them on the useless items.

What you don’t get from the Starter’s Kit is access to the beta, but that’s okay because we have 250 keys to give away, right here on The Average Gamer. Grab your key at the big shiny button below and follow the instructions to get into the game. The beta is already live and closes at 7am on Monday 25th March GMT.
