Welcome to the blog, Mark,

You're not wrong about the goodie bags. They were truly awful. Sorry to hear how much you spent on the show - we were disappointed but lucky for us, it wasn't so expensive.

If they run another event next year, I'll be much more persistent with the PR company to find out what's actually playable and new. With any luck we'll be able to tell people like you if it's worth travelling across the country or not.

i went to the play.com live event after buying my vip ticket . unsure what the vip stood for as i got treated like everyone else. there was only 4 new games i saw , born , rainbow2 , farcry2 and a quick climpse of ghostbusters. all in all this event was hyped up ... a few members of red dwarf where signing autographs , iain lee did a great job of hosting the event , gemma atkinson stood there looking pretty but lost. the crowd shuffled around from tiny booth to booth . when ever there was a free t shirt being thrown into the crowd there was a stampede. me being 15 stone didnt get pushed out of the way by some child wanting to catch a very large rainbow t shirt , just put my hand up and i gained what i wanted. yet another freebee.
the goodie bags , well what can i say about them . dvd's that no body wants . keychains designed for people with no tan . ie mosher style .
tonnes of flyes meaning nothing.
plastic licence plates of stuntman , unsure if im allowed to use it as my private number plate tho.
i felt the whole event in all was a poor let down , being my first event i was expecting alot more for my money. in all it cost me 200 big ones to get a ticket hotel room and train fare , i came from liverpool. i could of spent my hard earnt money on more xbox games .. can i have a full refund please. no harm in asking.

I'm really glad that I didn't show up for this one after all. Sounds a bit of a waste of money to me.
